Created in 1933 under the name “Bush Beer,” Bush Caractère is one of the oldest Belgian specialty beers and the flagship of Dubuisson Brewery. With an alcohol content of 12%, it stands out as one of the strongest Belgian beers while maintaining a uniquely rich flavor profile.
This filtered, top-fermented beer is also available in a 75 cl bottle with secondary fermentation. It is brewed using a blend of malts (including caramel malt), hops, sugar, water, and the brewery’s exclusive yeast, secretly preserved by Dubuisson. Thanks to the expertise of the brewmaster, the resilience of the house yeast, and a maturation period of 4 to 6 weeks, Bush Caractère reveals its full intensity.

On the nose, it has powerful aromas of ripe fruits (banana) and caramel notes.
