The Dubuisson Brewery puts its 250 years of history, passion and know-how at the service of its beers. This is how it has built a varied range of beers, suitable for different tasting moments and answering the pleasures of all beer lovers!
With the Bush range, it offers pure tasting beers. Whether it is the Bush Caractère, the Bush Triple or the Bush de Noël, each of them has a strong personality. This is also the case for the Surfine, which is unanimously appreciated by connoisseurs, and for the beers matured in oak barrels. Finally, the Dubuisson range also includes festive beers such as Pêche Mel’Bush, Fram’Bush, Rasta Trolls and Cuvée des Trolls.
With the Surfine, we are reviving a brand which originates from the rich history of Brasserie Dubuisson.
The beer is a traditional Saison and a typical regional product from the Province of Hainaut.
It is brewed with 3 kinds of malt, 3 varieties of quality Belgian hops and fermented with 3 types of yeast.
Year round
The Surfine is a golden blonde beer with 6.5% alcohol by volume. This refreshing beer has a surprisingly balanced, slightly bitter taste. The aromas are strikingly complex and fruity aromas; citrus is the predominant note but there are flowery touches, reinforced by impressions of herbs and pepper.
At the first tasting, a drily bitter character comes to the fore, but it’s never overwhelming.
The aftertaste, with its slightly sour undercurrent, gives the beer a refreshing character and makes it easy to digest.
Storage advice: store upright at a temperature of 4°C (if stored lying down, wait 15 minutes before uncorking).

Een tripel/saison van #dubuisson, zeer toegankelijk en gebalanceerd, met als enige uitschieter zijn royale koolzuurgehalte. Dat leent zich natuurlijk wel bij toepassing in #beerpairings , bijvoorbeeld bij subtiele, maar ietwat vette ingrediënten zoals o.a. roomkaas. Of natuurlijk gewoon om het zonnetje mee door te spoelen. 🍻🌞

Een iets minder uitdagend bier, maar laat dat geen minpunt zijn. Bieren als deze brengen namelijk de nodige balans in een bierlandschap dat hedendaags meer en meer invloed ziet van extreme en bombastische bieren. Soms mag het ook gewoon toegankelijk zijn. Gebalanceerd. Simpel. Rustig. 😌

Been drinking less lately to try to shred a little quarantine weight, but I pulled one from the back of the fridge tonight. Surfine from @brasserie_dubuisson - advertised as a Tripel Saison.
Actually, not a bad brew. Hits the front of the tongue like a stronger tripel, but doesn`t linger and kind of disappears. Some Saison spice but not an overly flavorful backbone. Would probably be a refreshing casual drink on a warm day. Whenever we have one of those again!
